From a small village, situated around a powerful source of drinking water, where the reef
slopes of the Biokovo St. Elijah, in the 18th century after the expulsion of the Turks,
descended inhabitants of the village of Bast and is now a famous tourist resort Baška Voda
with nearly 3000 inhabitants.
Baška Voda has a wealth of facilities for rest and recreation on land and sea, beautiful pebble
and sandy beach, various sports facilities, diving schools, places for boaters in the expanded
